Your tour starts at the Emirates Palace Hotel Marina, where you'll climb aboard your ship for a one hour tour. Once you're settled in, your cruise will take you along the Heritage Village site, a reconstruction of a traditional village that includes everything from a goat-hair tent to an underground irrigation system. During your waterway trek, you'll also tour the famous Corniche, where you'll come across another historic attraction, Fisherman's Village. Before you complete your tour, you'll make your way around Lulu Island, a man-made island only accessible by private boat.

Comfortable lightweight summer clothing and walking shoes is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats and some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear must be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops/malls and villages.
Restrictions
Must be able to get in/out of the boat. This tour is wheelchair accessible. Children under 33lb/ 15kg cannot be carried for safety reasons. Pregnant mothers are not permitted onboard at any stage of their pregnancy. Persons with a history of back problems are advised against participating on this tour. Note that the sea is an ever changing environment and the vessel may be subject to unpredictable movements that could aggravate an existing medical conditions. The tour operator should be advised of any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect the skipper's decision to take you on this tour (for example: epilepsy, dizzy spells, diabetes, angina or any other heart conditions, back or bone conditions and pregnancy).

In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean.
